Overview

TRAVERSE CITY, MI (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)--A dedicated and detail-oriented HOUSEKEEPER is needed to provide cleaning and housekeeping services for private residences and condominium common areas. This position offers $25 per hour plus two weeks of PTO and requires 31 hours per week. A reliable vehicle that can accommodate a vacuum and cleaning supplies is required, as the role involves traveling between multiple job sites.

The Housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in both private residences and condominium buildings, ensuring all assigned spaces are consistently well-kept and organized. Responsibilities include cleaning and tidying private homes, laundering and changing sheets, making beds, organizing, dishwashing, and occasional kitchen cleanup. In condominium buildings, duties extend to maintaining common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, community rooms, package rooms, trash areas, and pet stations.

The position follows a structured schedule with 6.5 hours on Mondays, 6 hours on Wednesdays, 5 hours on Thursdays, 8.5 hours on Fridays, and 5 hours on Saturdays, with Tuesdays and Sundays off. Work is distributed across multiple locations, often within the same day, including private homes, condo buildings, and an office space, totaling 31 hours per week. There is potential for additional hours for the right candidate, and minor schedule adjustments may be considered if necessary.
