Overview
HOUSTON, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - Family in the Bellaire/West View area seeking a highly qualified and experienced PART-TIME NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER to care for an adorable 9-month-old boy. The ideal candidate will be patient, nurturing, and passionate about child development.
Hours are 9 am - 2 pm, Monday - Friday with flexibility to transition to more afternoon hours when the son begins school in the fall. The nanny will be responsible for providing daily care, including feeding, meal prep for the baby, diapering, and soothing the baby. They will also be tasked with creating a stimulating environment, engaging in age-appropriate activities, and maintaining a clean and organized space. Household management duties include flexibility to assist with laundry, cleaning/tidying up the home, and meal prep on occasion. The family has housekeepers who come to the home regularly.
The ideal candidate should have experience caring for infants and possess knowledge of infant CPR and first aid. Additionally, fluency in English is required, and Mandarin speaking skills would be a significant advantage. The son may begin daycare in the fall, so candidates should be flexible to have increased household management duties then. There is a potential for additional children in the future, so they would love the nanny to be open to grow with their family.
The family prefers a nanny who is reliable, hardworking, and has a strong attention to detail. The ability to take feedback and adapt to a changing environment is essential.
Benefits include 10 PTO days 5 sick days. The family prefers fully vaccinated candidates including Covid Flu. Start date is ASAP. Pay is $25 /hr gross via payroll based on experience.

- BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
- UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
- THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
- A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
- 5 YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
- EXCELLENT WORK AND PERSONAL REFERENCES
