Overview
Miami, FL - First-time parents in a private, gated neighborhood in Miami seek a highly qualified and experienced FULL-TIME LIVE-ROTATIONAL NANNY for their 5-month-old baby boy. This family is looking for a long-term nanny who can provide daytime and overnight care. The typical schedule will be 7 days on 7 days off rotating with a second nanny. Nanny will have access to a private bedroom and bathroom within the family’s residence during ON week and is expected to be away from the home during the OFF week. The family plans to travel together roughly every 1-2 months, with each trip lasting 2-3 weeks. Therefore, they are looking for a nanny who is flexible and holds a valid passport to accompany them on these trips, the two nannies will rotate trips OR split the trip in half between the both of them.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, attentive to all details, and capable of providing exceptional care for their baby boy. Strong communication skills, discretion, and respect for boundaries are essential. This role requires a warm and hospitable demeanor, ensuring both the baby and parents feel comfortable and supported.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care, such as feeding, diaper changes, soothing, bathing and monitoring; putting infant back to sleep when waking up overnight; establishing and maintaining a consistent night time sleep and nap schedule and routine ; maintaining a clean and safe environment for the baby; and communicating effectively with parents regarding the baby’s activities, health, and progress. The nanny will tend to restock of the child’s items, prepare meals for the child and maintain proper hygiene. Duties will shift as the baby grows to include providing appropriate developmental activities to the child under the parents approval.
Qualifications for the role include proven experience as a professional career nanny for a minimum of 10 years; experience with newborns and infants; 10 years minimum of experience with caring for infants and overnight care; excellent communication skills with the ability to update and inform parents regularly; high level of discretion and respect for the family's privacy. Professional references from previous positions in similar roles are required.
Experience as a ROTA nanny or NCS is a plus. Pay is $85-120,000, depending on experience. Benefits include 2 weeks of paid vacation as well as health and vision benefits eligible after 2 months of employment. Start date is ASAP!
