JOB SUMMARY: The Gaming Supervisor is responsible for the daily Gaming Department operations. The Gaming Supervisor assists in ensuring a positive guest gaming experience and the supervision of the Gaming Ambassadors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides supervision to the Gaming Ambassadors and ensures the delivery of an exceptional gaming experience for the guest.
- Actively participates in the recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, progressive discipline, and retention of Gaming Ambassadors.
- Has a working knowledge of Title 31 requirements and internal control policies.
- Works with the Gaming Director and develops short and long-term planning for departmental operations.
- Participates in the budget analysis of capital expenditures for department projects and resources related to the gaming floor.
- Evaluates operating procedures, recommends changes, and implements changes approved by the Gaming Director.
- Executes department directives, objectives, and communication to include hosting regular huddles for the Gaming Ambassadors.
- Approves jackpots and fills.
- Safeguards company assets.
- Develops and implements plans to ensure the effective use of labor.
- Work in conjunction with security and surveillance to detect any floor, Team Member, or guest irregularities.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Actively supports and leads Players Card sign up initiatives and creatively plans and executes sign up campaigns to motivate and inspire Team Members to solicit the guest and sign them up.
- Shares and communicates current and relative information regarding terminal(s) status with the Gaming Director and Gaming Tech Manager.
- Provides leadership and oversight to all aspects of the HHR gaming experience.
- Is aware of all upcoming special events and promotions property wide.
- Attends to bill or voucher jams and reports other failures of the terminals.
- Responsible and accountable to comply with all key control policies/procedures.
- Professionally resolve any floor disputes and complaints and refer any unsettled disputes to Gaming Director.
- Provides BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset.
- The ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.
- The ability to work safely. This includes clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain regular attendance at scheduled shift and staff meetings.
- Maintain professionalism and a friendly and approachable demeanor throughout the shift.
- Assist with training/mentoring of new team members as requested.
- Maintain all appearance standards in accordance with established uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Inform manager on duty of any irregularities and unusual situations when they occur.
- Ability to keep a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high-stress situations and a continuously fast-paced environment.
- Is honest in all interactions and displays a high degree of integrity.
- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Prior relevant experience required.
- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
- Computer literate with knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & Outlook)
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.

- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols and eye hand coordination.
