Manufacturing Institute  Job Description     Job Title:                        Association Director, Women MAKE America  Division:                        Manufacturing Institute  Reports To:                   National Director, Women MAKE America  FLSA Status/Level:       Exempt, Senior Professional  Location:                       DC Headquarters  Salary Range:               $75,000 - $98,000     Position Overview:  The Manufacturing Institute (MI) seeks a dynamic and driven individual for the role of Associate Director, Women MAKE America. The Women MAKE America initiative is one of the Manufacturing Institute’s flagship programs that is focused on engaging women across the manufacturing sector to close the gender gap in manufacturing. As a key member of MI’s Women MAKE America team, this role will serve as a point of contact for a diverse array of partnerships and stakeholders committed to advancing women in manufacturing. This role will encompass comprehensive support for both new and existing initiatives, utilizing a range of systems, tools, and resources to elevate our programs. This role will be responsible for the planning and execution of convenings, webinars, and conferences, while collaborating closely with external partners – including employers and nonprofits – as well as internal support teams.       Join the MI and make an impact in the following ways:   As the Associate Director, this role will:   Lead the execution of key deliverables for stakeholders and partners related to the Women MAKE America mentorship programs, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals. Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the annual Leadership Development Conference and Awards Gala, crafting memorable experiences for all participants. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging programming and content that aligns with the mission of Women MAKE America and addresses the needs of women in manufacturing. Drive collaboration across the Women MAKE America portfolio, enhancing mentorship and alumni engagement.  Collect feedback to evaluate the success of programs and events, leveraging insights to inform future programming.  This description is representative of the position and not intended to limit or preclude other responsibilities and tasks that may be associated with or added to the role.    Supervisory Responsibilities:  None    We are looking for a team player who meets the following criteria:  A deep passion for workforce development, particularly in empowering women in the workforce. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, demonstrating a track record of success driving individual elements within a team.  Background and experience working within a nonprofit and a strong understanding of mission-driven work.   Experience in program deployment and management, ensuring effective implementation and evaluation. Experience executing engagement strategies that effectively connect with diverse audiences, including alumni and industry partners.   Experience organizing and executing events that foster community and engagement.   Experience and a desire to learn and evolve in an environment that requires initiative, creativity and teamwork.   And finally, it's important that you have...   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and nurture relationships.   Proficiency with the Microsoft productivity suite—specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint – as well as SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook.   A willingness to learn various web-based applications and tools.   Flexibility to travel for work as needed.   A team-oriented mindset with a customer service focus, dedicated to serving our stakeholders and communities effectively.       Salary Range: $75,000 – $98,000 annually. This salary range represents a good faith estimate of the lowest to the highest salary for this position.
