Our internships are designed to provide students with meaningful and challenging experiences that complement their academic studies.    Join the NAM’s Internship Program this Summer and Make an Impact in the Following Ways: Assist the accounting team with month-end close tasks, account reconciliations, and financial reporting Help process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Support the preparation of financial reports, internal controls documentation, and audit schedules Participate in special projects, including system data entry and process improvements Collaborate on a group community service project with other NAM interns We Are Looking for Interns Who Meet the Following Criteria: Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree-granting program during the internship or a recent graduate (within 8 months) majoring in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Basic understanding of accounting principles and interest in nonprofit finance Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Prior experience in a professional office setting is preferred but not required Compensation:  The accounting intern will be paid $22.00 per hour for the duration of the summer internship. Duration:  The position will begin in early June and will run a total of 8 weeks.
