Psychiatry (Child and Adolescent) - The Newton-Wellesley Hospital (NWH) Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join a supportive, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, family-focused, evidence-based care. This is a 0.6 - 1.0 FTE position which will be a combination of on-site and remote work.
Primary responsibilities include providing clinical care to children and adolescents in the outpatient setting and as part of the Child Psychiatry Consultation Liaison team. Other opportunities include collaboration with the MGH Cancer Center at NWH through the Parenting at A Challenging Time (PACT) program and participation in our community health initiative, The Resilience Project.
Our multi-disciplinary team includes psychiatrists, social workers, psychologists, mental health counselors, a medical assistant, and outstanding administrative support. Candidates must be BE|BC in adult and child|adolescent psychiatry. Ideal applicants will have excellent communication skills in addition to expertise in child development and psychopharmacology.
Administrative and educational responsibilities may include serving on hospital committees, educational programs, and weekly team meetings for case review and quality assurance. There is also an opportunity to serve as preceptor for Tufts medical students and MGH pediatric residents rotating at NWH. A faculty appointment, commensurate with experience, is available.
