Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding one Physiatrist to the Rehabilitation Medicine group at NYC Health Hospitals / Kings County. The Hospital is part of NYC Health Hospitals. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Responsibilities
- Perform specialized professional medical work in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Examine patients, order or perform appropriate treatments.
- Counsel and educate patients.
- Work with other members of the rehabilitation team and provide guidance and professional medical opinions.
- Give guidance and direction to the house staff and other members of the rehabilitation team.
- Participate in the teaching of the house staff.
- Assist the Director of Service in the administration of the service.
- Participate in the establishment and maintenance of standards of performance of physicians and other professional employees working in the service.
- Work as assigned in the in-patient wards, out-patient clinics, off service consultations, electro diagnostic consultations.
- Provide direct patient care in various settings as assigned by the director of service; inpatient wards, bedside inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, electro diagnostic laboratory, off hours on call duties.
- Quality assurance monitoring, performance improvement activities, and other administrative duties as assigned by the director of service.
- Participate in supervision, education, and evaluation of residents and medical students assigned to the Rehabilitation Medicine service.
