The Graduate Medical Education Department is seeking a Program Director Academic Physician to provide professional expertise and leadership to lead a start-up proposed Otolaryngology Surgery Residency. This will be a university-affiliated position.Minimum Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years clinical practice as an Otolaryngologist post-residency.Minimum of 1-3 years as an APD / Core Faculty experience teaching in an approved AOA or ACGME Otolaryngology Surgery Residency program.Experience with publications and grant writing skills preferred but not required.Responsibilities : Provide administrative leadership and direction to the program.Provide direct patient care and supervise residents in clinical settings.Oversee Otolaryngology Surgery Residency support staff.Assist with recruiting residents.Develop, revise, and maintain curriculum.Lead in residents' performance improvement plans, coaching, remediation, and disciplinary activities as needed.Oversee and teach didactics curriculum to residents.Ensure the Annual Program Evaluation with the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education WebAds are updated.Compensation and Benefits : Best in class compensation plus generous benefits including Paid Malpractice; CME Time and Allowance; Accrued Paid Time Off; 403(b) match and 457(b); Health and Dental; and other desirable benefits.#J-18808-Ljbffr
