Lucrative opportunity for a BC|BE OB|GYN physician. This hospital-employed position is with a well-established practice that provides comprehensive, expert obstetric and gynecologic care in a warm and personalized environment. The practice is seeking an additional provider due to one of the full-time providers, who has been with the practice since 1986, becoming the “locums” provider. The other provider has been with the practice for 7 years. Office hours are standard, and each provider sees around 16 patients a day. The work week is 4 days, with each provider selecting Monday or Friday as their off day. Call is 1 in 4.
The hospital will provide locum coverage over a weekend or vacation. Each provider has 1 day in the OR for surgical procedures. Procedures include : Ultrasounds, Colposcopies, IUD Insertions, Nexplanon Insertions, endometrial biopsies, pessary insertions, and C-Sections. The hospital had 120 births last year, of which 25 were C-sections. This hospital is offering another model if interested : each OB / GYN hired will work two weeks on and two weeks off. While here, they would take call. This model will interest the OB / GYN who may want to cut back to half-time, but not fully retire, and also may interest the OB / GYN who does not wish to relocate.
Base Salary is Competitive & Negotiable, plus a Sign-on Bonus, Incentives, Benefits, and Malpractice.
