The National Conference Center is looking for a part-time Audio Visual Technician who will be responsible for management of equipment and daily delivery of services. They will provide general direction to operations staffing to ensure maximum utilization of equipment and production services, work closely with customers and staff to gather, record, and perform customer requirements with an emphasis on quality, and also assist manager in strategically planning to ensure adequate equipment and staffing levels.
ESSENTIAL TASKS:
• Daily coordination and delivery (set-up and breakdown) of Audio/Visual services to customers.
• Organizes and compiles information generated with customer and conveys to manager or relevant Media Support staff to ensure a fail-safe procedure for providing customer requirements.
• Manage equipment inventory, maintenance, and upgrades, reporting any needs to Media Support Manager.
• Maintains and oversees daily production of Media Support Daily Work Schedule, ensuring that information is accurate and sufficient in providing excellent customer satisfaction.
• Facilitates customer invoicing including daily postings to front office and Media Support record keeping. Ensures that specific details are followed by all Media Support staff. Reconciles daily information reported by accounting.
• Provides necessary staffing and equipment requirement needs to Media Support manager and provides assistance in obtaining those resources. (i.e., price quotes, bids, etc.)
• Perform other duties as assigned by Media Support Manager. (i.e., Inventory)
• Recommend, organize, and coordinate service improvements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: High School Graduate
Experience: Minimum of one year experience with audio-visual environment. Must have knowledge of personal computers and software. 3-5 Years’ experience with Audio/Visual Technologies including (but not limited to): Sound, lighting, computer projection, stage production, etc.
