What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback position at The National Exchange Hotel?
We are strictly looking for a supporting role for our bartenders. This is a BARBACK position. This is not a bartender role.
Under the direction of the Management team, perform assigned responsibilities necessary for service of guests in the bar, restaurant and hotel, in keeping with the standards of The National Hotel. Assist in the responsible service of alcohol to guests. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for delivering friendly and knowledgeable service to guests at the bar.
- Organize and prioritize daily tasks to ensure their timely and correct completion.
- Responsible for a working daily knowledge of the Lola wine list, bar spirits and food menus.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment. Keep all service stations/areas clean and organized at all times.
- Communicate service needs to colleagues and work together as a team in order to provide seamless service to all guests.
- Report any and all issues that arise with guests to a member of management in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for accurate cash handling.
- Responsible service and handling of alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain a personal appearance that is neat and clean, and have a clean and pressed uniform at all times.
