What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Associate (External Agency Staff - 6 month assignment) position at The National Football League?
The Accounts Payable Associate plays a key role in supporting the NFL in supplier management, invoice entry, processing, reporting and other various AP duties. This position will be able to assist with accounting related questions / concerns while ensuring company policies and audit procedures are being followed. This position will communicate and collaborate with finance and all other departments across the league to record and process various transactions as well as provide reports and findings. This position will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Procure to Pay. This position is for a fixed 6 month assignment only.
Responsibilities
- Integral in the onboarding of new suppliers and supplier management process
- Support departments with processing invoices, check requests, wire transfers, new vendor set up and troubleshooting
- Support finance with reporting and analysis of invoicing and payments
- Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships among various departments
- Resolve questions and troubleshoot systematic issues
- Assist in the new vendor process, PO creation / questions and knowledge of various NFL systems and budgeting tools
