What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Director, Treasurer position at The National Football League?
Overview / Objective :
The Senior Director, Treasurer will be a key leader within the NFL's Finance organization. They will lead the treasury function including cash management, forecasting, banking administration, risk and insurance, and other treasury related operations. The position will be reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily cash positioning activities including managing daily liquidity and cash position optimization
- Oversee and evaluate current insurance programs, ensure adequate coverage and compliance
- Work closely on the evaluation and enhancement of the League's risk management framework
- Develop a structure to work with business partners, shared services, FP&A and Club Finance to optimize working capital
- Develop cash flow forecasts that will be used to optimize liquidity, strategic business decisions, and investments
- Create and maintain an efficient system of policies and procedures that impose an adequate level of control over treasury activities
- Invest excess cash within cash investment guidelines to optimize interest income
- Design, analyze, monitor, and hedge exposures to foreign exchange and interest rate risk
