We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong background in Electronic Medical Records (EMR), design thinking, and technical expertise. This role requires experience in project management and a commitment to quality and adept at leading cross-functional teams. The role will oversee the full product implementation lifecycle, ensuring that system testing, and support processes meet industry standards, compliance requirements, and client expectations.
This role is onsite in our New York offices.
Responsibilities :
- Internal Client and Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main client liaison, gathering client requirements to turn them into actionable work items.
- Lead regular project updates to keep clients informed about progress, testing outcomes, and support metrics.
- Build strong client relationships, providing transparent communication and managing expectations effectively.
- End-to-End Planning and Execution
- Create and maintain roadmap in alignment with business priorities and expectations
- Design project plans that cover deliverables, timelines, testing protocols, and resource allocation.
- Set milestones for each project phase, from requirements gathering till product launch.
- Closely monitor timelines, adjusting plans as needed to address technical challenges or evolving requirements.
- Team Leadership and Knowledge Development
- Support cross-functional Agile teams, ensuring alignment on roles for development, testing, and support.
- Thorough knowledge of systems integrations via REST or other protocols, UI / UX toolsets.
- Good understanding of front end and backend systems design and data management, data engineering
- Guide system testing protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular team meetings, fostering skill development and performance recognition.
- System Testing and Quality Assurance Management
- Oversee a structured approach to testing, including unit, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end tests.
- Work with QA engineers to design comprehensive test cases that cover functionality and edge cases.
- Review testing outcomes, addressing defects to ensure all issues are resolved before delivery.
- Smoke test results with every deployment
- Technical Support and Issue Resolution
- Manage a technical support framework to ensure effective issue resolution, with escalation paths for complex problems.
- Manage the issue tracking process, from identification through to resolution, and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
- Oversee post-implementation technical support to ensure a smooth transition for clients and address any ongoing needs.
- Continue to groom the backlog with identified technical improvements
- Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain thorough project documentation, covering requirements, testing results, and support cases to ensure compliance.
- Manage progress reports that capture project health, testing metrics, and support activities for stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and accessible for audits or future reference.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Use insights from Agile retrospectives and support metrics to drive process improvements.
- Research and implement best practices in system testing and support, increasing efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of innovation and encourage team contributions to process enhancements.
