Reports to: Director of Development
Objective: The Development Coordinator plays an integral role in the Museum’s fundraising efforts, working closely with the Chief Advancement Officer, Director of Development, and Chief Financial Officer to process gifts and memberships, generate analytical reports and donor lists, and other duties related to development activities. A person successful in this role enjoys detailed work that is performed on a set schedule throughout the week, month, and year.
Position Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinates all administrative duties related to the membership campaign, including solicitation letters, renewals, database updates and procedures, membership signage, and presence at community events to encourage membership sales.
- Coordinates gift entry and related financial reporting in conjunction with the Finance Department.
- Serves as the primary contact for all membership inquiries, working closely with the Director of Development and front of house to provide excellent member stewardship.
- Produces a broad array of reports from Raiser’s Edge to implement and track goals for the membership campaign.
- Creates and maintains campaigns, funds,and appeals in Raiser’s Edge.
- Serves as primary liaison with ResTech, the Museum’s database partner.
- Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Two-year associate’s degree
- Team player, working in the best interests of the organization
- Proficiency with Raiser’s Edge or other CRM database system
- Strong computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Bookkeeping and/or financial accounting skills preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Organized and self-motivated
Benefits:
This is a full-time hourly position with a compensation range beginning at $27 per hour, an annualized equivalent of $56,160.
