The Associate determines admission prices and processes ticket orders in a courteous manner, giving Museum guests an exceptional level of service at all times.

The Associate determines admission prices and processes ticket orders in a courteous manner, giving Museum guests an exceptional level of service at all times.
Requirements
- Determine admission status of groups and individuals and quickly and accurately processes tickets purchases.
- Assist with information as required to help visitors enjoy their museum visit.
- Train to stay up to date on upsell opportunities, including PT-305 tours, entertainment options, and outbound travel.
- Train other Admissions Associates as necessary.
- Assist with the check in of groups.
- Practice the Service Basics at all times. Provides a welcoming and inviting experience for Museum visitors.
- Notify the Manager and Assistant Director of Visitor Services of immediate and/or general customer service, security, or safety issues.
- Account for and balance receipts at the end of the shift.
- Undertake other duties and special projects as assigned by the Visitor Service Manager and Assistant Director of Visitor Services.
- Work closely with Membership and Volunteer Departments
- Assist in answering the main phone line.
- Experience balancing daily receipts and familiarity with ticket sales software programs.
- Experience working with the public, especially in sales.
- Positive attitude and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Comfortable working within a team, as well as for extended periods independently.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Initiative, organizational skills and good judgment.
- Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime during special events or heavy visitation periods. Weekend work required.
