ABOUT THE ROLE :

Responsible for building and growing the TNBC share, profit, and volume for specifically assigned territory, and for total company, in both the on- and off-premises.

Responsible for developing and championing TNBC brands at the retail level and alongside our distributor partners in market, in both the on- and off-premises.

Grow accounts buying and product placements to assigned goals, in both the on- and off-premises.

Be the liaison between our retailer partners and distributor partners, while representing TNBC brands and self-disposition with integrity and professionalism.

Be the liaison between our retail partners and internal Director team by identifying, communicating, and discussing marketing opportunities for more turnkey execution.

Implement Retail Standards while out at retail and coach distributor partners / retailers on our standards for their own execution / implementation

Enter CRM data at each visited account and conduct assigned survey tasks and commitment forms

Based on retail opportunities, sample and educate our retailers on TNBC brands, pricing, and liquid attributes

Utilize VIP to run reports and manage opportunities – new / lost placements, volume trends, distributor commitments and follow-thru

Follow up on new leads resulting from field activity in a timely manner

Identify and resolve retailer and distributor concerns; communicating upwards in a timely manner.

Manage quality at retail (code dates, package integrity) and address any issues observed with respective distributor and Director of Sales and / or Director of Chain

MARKETING, SAMPLING OPPORTUNITIES, AND EVENTS

Create promotional programs with Director of Sales and TNBC Marketing Team that support the brand strategies and growth opportunities in assigned territory

Attend beer festivals and tastings as required for needed brand representation and sampling opportunities

Identify any marketing, special event, venue, or key account opportunities that would showcase our brands.

Execute Account Activations at retail while following all procedures and processes, and legalities.

Manage point-of-sale and company property while at retail

ATTENDANCE, PREPLANNING, AND ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

Schedule, coordinate, manage, and execute sales rep work-withs with distributor sales manager personnel, while ensuring you understand and implement each distributors’ internal processes / protocols for scheduling in advance

Preplan and manage a calendar, minimum of 60 days out (30 days confirmed and booked, 30 days preplanned) and submit monthly to Director of Sales for travel approval in advance.

Travel (specifically anything that involves airfare, hotel, and / or car rental) needs to be booked at a minimum of 2 weeks out, unless given an exception from Director of Sales or COO

Effectively manage Travel & Entertainment budgets and submit receipts to One Drive folders in timely (within 7 days) manner, while staying within assigned budgets

Attend, assist, and participate in all weekly sales meetings and sales trainings / beer education; timely and professional

Manage emails and any work related messages (texts, Teams) in a timely manner, with a proficient understanding of Microsoft Office – specifically word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.

Know, understand, and enforce all company policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant sales and / or relevant field experience
  • Current industry knowledge and understanding
  • Proficient time management and ability to work Monday thru Friday business hours, and flexibility to work nights and weekends
  • Proficient user of Microsoft – Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Familiarity with VIP / iDig / KARMA CRM and Data applications
  • Maintain appropriate dress and personal appearance standards.
  • Self-motivated and managed
  • Customer service oriented
  • Act as an Entrepreneur
  • Comfortable and confident when speaking to others
