Job Description
The Neighborhood at Cullman is hiring a PRN Resident Care Associate to provide quality care and services to residents in our assisted living and Memory care neighborhoods.
Shift Details
As needed to cover any shift; weekdays, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and update Personalized Service Plans with families as requested.
- Maintain hydration schedules for residents during shifts.
- Complete resident meal attendance sheets and ensure room service or accounting for missed meals.
- Comply with all resident rights.
- Initiate and assign activities as appropriate.
- Check assigned residents daily for cleanliness, clothing, continence issues, and condition changes.
- Use proper sanitary procedures and universal precautions.
- Conduct regular checks on assigned resident rooms for cleanliness and neatness.
- Assist with laundry, common areas, and bathroom checks for cleanliness and hazardous chemicals.
- Complete ADLs for assigned residents according to their Personalized Service Plan.
- Respond promptly to security system alerts and resident call bells, taking appropriate action.
Requirements
- High School education preferred, may be required by the state.
- Previous experience working with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old to perform personal care aspects of the RCA position.
- Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and peak service delivery days and times.
