Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will prioritize customers, maintain confidentiality, and support store operations with a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet all customers courteously and offer assistance in locating items.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality at all times, both during and after employment.
Merchandise Handling: Assist with sorting, washing, and hanging clothing items, shoes, accessories, and toys.
Lifting Requirements: Lift large bags, boxes, and totes of donated and stored items, up to 40 lbs.
Activity Involvement: Participate in daily, monthly, and quarterly activities.
Administrative Assistance: Assist with clerical work, telephone duties, and inventory management.
Team Support: Provide assistance and support to co-workers as needed.
Store Displays: Assist with creating and maintaining store displays.
Meeting Attendance: Attend team building, staff, and board meetings as assigned.
Community Representation: Act as a spokesperson to increase community awareness and support when necessary.
Promotions and Programs: Assist with store promotions, programs, and fundraising activities.
Work Atmosphere: Maintain a positive atmosphere through positive attitudes, communications, and behaviors.
Additional Duties: Complete any other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
