Wages: $20.00 - $26.00 / hr DOE
About you: As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and security of medical records in full compliance with company policies, state, and federal regulations. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the completeness and timeliness of documentation from nursing staff and the interdisciplinary team (IDT). In addition, you will actively contribute to the implementation of corrective actions and provide education and guidance to clinical staff to maintain high standards of documentation and care.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and secure medical records in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
- Monitor and assess the completeness and timely submission of documentation by nursing staff and IDT members.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to implement corrective actions and improve documentation practices.
- Provide training and support to clinical staff to ensure adherence to documentation standards and regulatory requirements.
- Associate's degree or relevant experience in medical records, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Solid understanding of medical record laws, regulations, and long-term care operations.
- Proficient in English with a working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong computer skills, especially with electronic medical records (PointClickCare and/or MatrixCare).
- Knowledge of diagnostic coding.
- Medical - employee premiums paid at 95% for HDHP and 90% for EPO
