Dining Room Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests in a fast-paced dining environment. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that each guest has a memorable experience by delivering food and beverages efficiently and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly atmosphere.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and promptly.
• Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner, ensuring all orders are correct.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register with accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Promote menu items and specials to increase sales opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or as a server is preferred but not required.
• Strong guest relations skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
• Ability to handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Experience in a nightclub or similar fast-paced setting is an advantage.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help others is essential for success in this role.

Pay: $12.47 - $13.28 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
