What You'll Do
As an Event Planner , you'll manage events from conception through completion, delivering exceptional service and ensuring seamless execution for both internal and external clients. Responsibilities include :
- Event Management : Plan and oversee a variety of events, including member engagement activities, weddings, receptions, corporate gatherings, and other social occasions, while adhering to strict deadlines and budgets.
- Event Planning : Coordinate logistics, food service, entertainment, dcor, and staffing. Optimize processes through event planning software and ensure efficiency.
- Vendor Relationships : Build and maintain relationships with external vendors, negotiate contracts, and oversee deliverables.
- Client Experience : Ensure exceptional client experiences by managing all phases of events, including preparation, execution, and post-event follow-up.
- Internal Communication : Act as the central point of communication between internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure flawless event execution.
- Advocacy & Outreach : Promote the museum's event spaces through outreach, marketing, and relationship-building within the community.
- Best Practices : Stay informed about industry trends, government regulations, and design innovations, proactively identifying opportunities to improve operations.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated professional with the following qualifications and skills :
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage complex event logistics.
What We Offer
Competitive Salary :
The starting salary range for this position spans from the minimum of the grade level to 90% of the midpoint for the grade level. The final salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's education, experience, and other relevant qualifications.
