JOB DESCRIPTION

The Nephrology Group is seeking a full-time housekeeping/janitor to join our team. We are a local growing private medical practice specializing in the treatment of patients with kidney disease. We are looking for an individual who would like to establish a career in healthcare working as a housekeeper/ janitor. This is an on-site position at multiple locations.

REQUIREMENTS -

- Minimum 2 year of experience in facility housekeeping service

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Light work – exert/lift up to 15-30 lbs

RESPONSABILITIES - The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring facility and outdoor area cleanliness in a manner that upholds and complies with The Nephrology Groups (TNG) standards.

- This position will ensure clean facility floors and surfaces using appropriate cleaning methods and procedures

- Mixes appropriate proportions of cleaning and disinfecting materials following safety protocols

- Sanitizes, dusts, mops and sweeps common areas, exam room, waiting rooms, outside garden area, on-site lab, staff lounges, staff restrooms, hallways, stairwells, utility rooms and administrative offices

- Cleans and disinfects client bathroom and public patient restrooms

- Cleans mirrors and windows along with polishing fittings and fixtures

- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment needed to do their job and communicates when supplies need to be re-ordered.

- Inform Operations and/or leads about any client complaints or building hazards

- Maintains a clean and organized storage areas for cleaning equipment and supplies

- Follows highest standards of cleanliness

- Follows all federal, state and corporate policies, health codes

- Follows procedures to properly clean medical equipment (if delegated)

- Uses proper mop heads for designated rooms, and follow color directions to ensure the proper sanitary guidelines

- Taking out trash, sweeping, mopping, clean windows, & mirrors, and counters

- Maintains confidentiality at all times

- Observes department guidelines to conduct personal business during breaks and lunch hour,

- Projects a positive professional image, adheres to organizational dress code, and ensures that all staff follows guidelines

- Demonstrates a willingness to accommodate requirements or changing priorities in the workplace

- Participates in all safety programs, which may include involvement in on going OSHA training.

- Performs any additional duties and tasks as may be required or assigned

BENEFITS -

- Full-time employees working at least 30 hours per week are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

- We offer accrued vacation, 40 hours sick leave, 10 paid holidays and direct deposit.

- In addition TNG offers a Profit Sharing plan to employees who work a minimum of 1,000 hours per fiscal year.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
