The Ness Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate licensed therapist or counselor to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse clientele in our outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and contributing to our mission of improving everyday lives in our community.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches appropriate for various mental health conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Participate in case conferences and treatment team meetings
- Engage in crisis intervention when necessary
- Advocate for clients and coordinate with community resources as needed
- Stay current with best practices in mental health treatment
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
- Current state licensure as an LPC, or LCSW
- Minimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience in a mental health setting
Preferred:
- Experience in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR)
- Additional certifications in specialized areas of mental health treatment
