What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ultrasound Tech position at The Nest & Company?
We are looking for a compassionate and professional Ultrasound Technician for our Specialty health office. SPI certification and prior experience required. This person will feel confident in independently performing diagnostic and boutique ultrasounds. Flexible schedule is a must in this position as we are open Saturdays. Job duties include:
- Scan patient using 2D/3D/4D
- Document findings and generate EMR report (if necessary)
- Maintain records, respect confidentiality and privacy
- Clean and maintain exam room
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Maintain stock of supplies
- Stock linens and maintain rooms in a neat and orderly manner
- Ensure all imaging equipment are up to date with preventative maintenance
Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, verbally and in writing
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships diverse groups
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to interpret physician instructions, patient medical and clinical records
- Ability to work effectively as a team player
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and congenital/acquired pathology as they relate to the use and interpretation of ultrasound diagnostic procedures
Job Requirements:
- 1 year experience as Ultrasound Tech
- (AHA) BLS
