The Nest Family Center is seeking dedicated part time Associate Teachers to join us in providing high-quality childcare services at our new state of the art childcare facility in Londonderry, New Hampshire!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Teaching:
- At the direction of the Lead Teacher, implement developmentally appropriate activities that support children's growth and learning.
Classroom Management:
- Cultivate a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages children to explore and learn
Parent Communication:
- Maintain open lines of communication with families to keep them informed about their child's progress and address any concerns.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to create a cohesive and supportive teaching environment.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of children, staff, and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Familiarity with state regulations and best practices in early childhood education preferred
- Prior experience working with children preferred
- Some college coursework in child development or related field (Psychology, Sociology, etc.) preferred
- Must pass a background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., lift infants into and out of a crib, assume low level postures to connect with children at eye level, engage in physical activities with children, and see/hear well enough to keep children safe
The Nest Family Center requires all staff to comply with the rules and regulations of the State of New Hampshire's Child Care Licensing Unit, including but not limited to background checks, professional development, and CPR/First Aid certification.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 30 per week
