OVERVIEW:
The Nest Family Center is seeking dedicated part time Assistant Teachers, Associate Teachers, and Lead Teachers to join us in providing high-quality childcare services at our new state of the art flexible childcare facility in Londonderry, New Hampshire!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement educational and engaging activities that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our members.
- Create a structured and stimulating environment that promotes active learning and creativity.
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, and maintain open communication channels.
- Provide high-quality care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and execute daily routines, including mealtimes, nap times, and outdoor activities.
- Encourage and support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Manage classroom behavior and develop strategies for behavior management.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective childcare program.
- Participate in staff training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment that promotes a sense of community and respect for the children and their belongings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred but not required.
- Experience working with children in a daycare or childcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development and educational best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
- A passion for educating and caring for young children.
SKILLS:
- Experience working with students in a daycare or childcare setting.
- Nannying or caregiving experience.
- Experience with toddler care and childhood development.
- Strong educational background and ability to educate children.
- Experience with classroom teaching and behavior management.
- Proficiency in childcare and early childhood education.

The Nest Family Center requires all staff to comply with the rules and regulations of the State of New Hampshire's Child Care Licensing Unit, including but not limited to background checks, professional development, and CPR/First Aid certification.
