We are adding a Director of Finance & Accounting.
The Director of Finance and Accounting is responsible for managing the companies financial health. They work with the CEO to develop financial strategies and ensure the company's growth and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Accounting operations : Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll, and financial reporting
- Financial reporting : Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Audits : Ensure a smooth audit process by creating and maintaining internal controls
- Stock administration : Oversee stock administration
- 401(k) administration : Manage the 401(k) audit process and file Form 5500 annually
- Finance IT system : Oversee and manage the company's finance IT system
- Tax reporting : Coordinate corporate tax reporting and preparation of tax returns with outside tax accountants
- Cash flow management : Manage cash flow effectively
- Budgeting : Manage the company's budget
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with overall business goals and objectives as set forth by the CEO and Board of Directors.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Collaborate with cross-functionally with other departments to develop and execute growth strategies. Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities, partnerships, and markets that will drive growth.
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, tax, and audit functions.
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance metrics.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions and other stakeholders.
- Ensure transparency and effective communication with Board of Directors.
