Facilities Maintenance Lead

Facility Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections and general maintenance on building structures, grounds and non-medical equipment for the purposes of identifying and resolving potential hazards
• Complete general maintenance such as plumbing repair, replacing electrical outlets and light bulbs, changing air filters, interior paint and furniture assemly/relocation
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues, securing external service providers as needed to make repairs and perform warranty work
• Assist with weekly landscaping duties to ensure campus is safe for patients, staff, and other guests
• Manage relationships and contracts with vendors providing housekeeping, landscaping, HVAC, and construction support
• Respond to emergency situations and resolve building concerns
• Check eyewash stations (weekly) and fire extinguishers (monthly) per guidelines
• Coordinate with appropriate entities to certify that fire equipment and elevators are up to code

Skills/Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• General knowledge of all trades to include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection, and mechanical
• Two (2) years of maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred
• General knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and other safety regulations
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and handle multiple projects
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call

Ability to Relocate:

• Savannah, GA 31405: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)
