Facility Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and general maintenance on building structures, grounds and non-medical equipment for the purposes of identifying and resolving potential hazards
- Complete general maintenance such as plumbing repair, replacing electrical outlets and light bulbs, changing air filters, interior paint and furniture assemly/relocation
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues, securing external service providers as needed to make repairs and perform warranty work
- Assist with weekly landscaping duties to ensure campus is safe for patients, staff, and other guests
- Manage relationships and contracts with vendors providing housekeeping, landscaping, HVAC, and construction support
- Respond to emergency situations and resolve building concerns
- Check eyewash stations (weekly) and fire extinguishers (monthly) per guidelines
- Coordinate with appropriate entities to certify that fire equipment and elevators are up to code
Skills/Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- General knowledge of all trades to include electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection, and mechanical
- Two (2) years of maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred
- General knowledge of OSHA, fire prevention, and other safety regulations
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and handle multiple projects
- Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours
