Role Description:
Clifton's Republic is a high-end, legendary eatery and nightlife destination, featuring 6 floors of entertainment and an experiential maze of food and beverage options.
As the hospitality supervisor, your role is to manage daily functions, oversee employee activity, and oversee operations and activities within the venue.
Responsibilities:
- Works with GM on planning, analysis, and obtains maximum utilization of account resources
- Operate within the budget and identify new ways to improve the development of the business
- Advocate preventative maintenance and security functions that protect physical assets and personal safety of employees and customers
- Develop staff skills to enhance department effectiveness and manage resources to eliminate excess cost or unnecessary expenditures.
- Consistent and regular attendance during the nighttime and weekend hours
Job Requirements:
- At least 5-years’ experience with restaurant, bars and nightlife programming relevant experience managing nightlife destinations
- Experience recruiting, hiring and training a large, varied staff across all job descriptions - Strong floor presence capable of anticipating and resolving issues with both staff & guests - Extreme attention to detail
- Strong sense of organization
- Detail oriented
- Ability to strategically schedule employees, vendor associates and 3rd party providers while maintaining labor cost controls
- Ability to provide outstanding guest service for high-end establishment - Critical thinker that understands the complexity of a large venue
- Team player -Experience working with A-list private party clientele and producing world-class events in conjunction with internal and external teams
- Must work well with many different personalities
- Ability to work in a high-traffic/high-volume environment
- Comfortable making fast decisions while maintaining control and calm under pressure
- -Knowledge of CA Labor and ABC Law as they pertain to a Food and Beverage operation. Experience using TOAST, Hot Schedules, SevenRooms, and other hospitality programs are a strong plus!
- Experience in maintaining compliance across all area, i.e. California and Federal Law training, Labor Law compliance for breaks and workplace Compliance and ongoing documentation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
