What are the responsibilities and job description for the LGBTQIA+ Specialist - Associate Therapist position at The New Beginnings Center?
We are seeking part-time or full-time Associate MFT for our growing Center.
The New Beginnings Center offers a unique, dynamic training for Associates looking to gain experience and expertise in working with clients and build their Outpatient practice. An associateship at The New Beginnings Center will provide immediate experience in facilitating groups along with seeing individual clients. Meanwhile, you will receive the support and resources necessary to begin networking and promoting your OP practice using our available offices and administrative support.

- 40-50% fee split for outpatient and group work, $21/hr for supervision, meetings, and outreach work

Duties Include:
- Conduct intakes for new OP and Group clients, ensure all client paperwork is properly filled out and uploaded to EHR system
- Complete progress notes after each session, no later than 24 hours
- Actively participate in weekly supervision to facilitate clinical and professional growth, coordination, and client care
- Facilitate or co-facilitate at least one group, as assigned
- Charge clients and document all billing and insurance information into EHR system accurately and promptly
- Participate in 6 networking/tabling events per year, Write 1 blog entry per month
- Generate a minimum of $6,600 per month in revenue for clinical work, majority in-person
Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology (or similar)
- Registered MFT, PCC, or SW Associate number
- DBT, Somatic, Trauma experience required
- One year commitment
- Ability to commute to our therapy center in Camarillo (minimum 2 days per week)
