This is a full-time, on-site role for a Reading and Language Skills Teacher located in Richmond, VA. The Reading and Language Skills Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, teaching language and literature, and utilizing tailored educational methods to support students with dyslexia and related learning differences. Additionally, this role will involve assessing and tracking student progress and collaborating with other educators to adapt teaching strategies as needed.
- Experience in Language Teaching and Teaching
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Educational Methodologies
- Strong background in Literature and Education
- Ability to customize teaching approaches to individual student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field
- Experience working with students with learning differences is a plus
- Relevant teaching certifications are beneficial
