Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Dermatology PA/NP to work collaboratively with our board-certified dermatologists in diagnosing and treating a wide range of skin conditions. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed patient assessments and take medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat common dermatologic conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections.
- Perform dermatologic procedures such as biopsies, excisions, and cryotherapy.
- Educate patients on skin health, preventative care, and treatment options.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including skin biopsies, laboratory tests, and imaging studies.
- Provide follow-up care and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with the dermatology team to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Stay up to date with the latest dermatology treatments, trends, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Must be a certified Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with an active state license.
- Dermatology experience is highly preferred; however, we are open to candidates with a strong medical background who are eager to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for patient care.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
