Infant Teacher ECE Montessori

The New Haven
San Diego, CA Full Time
POSTED ON 3/22/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 5/11/2025

Early Childhood Education Infant Teacher

The New Haven is a new kind of work space for the families of San Diego. We are creating an entirely new way for families to fulfill their work responsibilities while remaining close to each other and being able to be a part of a community together. This is a start up company so the energy here is high and the innovation open for ideas. We'd love to see if you want to be a part of creating something beautiful with us.

We offer coworking office space for parents and in a room just across the hall, a serene space for their young children ages 4 months to 3 years, to play and learn together. We have just completed our start up year and are thrilled to be in the process of moving into our own space and expanding the child's program. We are hiring a whole new team under the leadership of a Master Program Director who has built multiple preschools and faculty teams across San Diego. We will begin leasing a space in Liberty Station for our re-launch in August 2022. There will be training and prep work in early August and set to begin the school year mid-August (exact dates TBD). Take a minute to get to know the concept further by browsing our website: https://www.thenewhavens.com

The Infant Teacher will be co-teaching with another Highly Qualified Infant Teacher in a class of 8 with a 4 to 1 ratio and occasional floater assistance. The classroom environment is very much inspired by a combination of Early Childhood Education thinkers including Maria Montessori. It will be a very accessible environment designed especially for infants to be able to move freely and have a quiet place to sleep apart from the play area. There will be a lactation/nursing area so mothers who are working across the hall in the office, can visit to nurse their child when applicable.

The founder is looking for someone who is excited about being a part of a start-up environment and who ultimately wants to nurture and support the development and well-being of these little ones.
