PURPOSE OF POSITION:
We are seeking an energetic and solutions-focused RMA Coordinator, who has extensive material handling experience including coordinating and facilitating material returns. The ideal candidate will process and track service-related RMAs to include equipment and parts coming from Field Service personnel and the Production facilities. In addition, the RMA Coordinator will source replacement parts from inventory, vendors, or Production. The successful candidate will also have strong communication, problem solving and time management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Track RMA material from the field, production, or vendors as required.
- Track RMA inventory maintained in Field Service warehouses.
- Processing and following up on open RMA orders.
- Source replacement equipment/parts required to support technicians in the field.
- Working closely with internal departments such as Field Service, purchasing, warehouse, shipping, and accounting to close RMA orders.
- Manually load or unload RMA orders from pallets, skids, or other lifting devices. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a forklift license.
- Validate material requirements and process inventory changes in multiple IT systems.
- Confirm quality checks and documentation have been completed.
- Communicate with vendors on returning items for replacement or receiving credit notes.
- Follow existing RMA processes and protocols, looking for improvements to current processes.
- Assist Purchasing with information required to procure equipment/parts.
- Immediately notify all stakeholders of any potential delay of materials
- Expedite and facilitate flow of materials to and from various departments and note production complications.
- Continuously improve upon processes and offer solutions to best support the organization and increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of RMA experience is required, preferably in a field service environment.
- Proficiency at using computer systems (e.g. MS Office programs, ERP and other IT applications as trained/required).
- Exceptional organizational skills, able to prioritize, and multi-task.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication, time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Able to handle heavy lifting (up to 50lbs).
Education and Experience:
- BA/BS Degree preferred, but not required.
- Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office applications (Access, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
