PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
This full-time position will be responsible overseeing the efficient and effective management of all materials and inventory within our facility. Ensuring that materials are handled, stored, and distributed in a safe and efficient manner, while also maintaining accurate inventory records. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with various teams and departments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of material handlers and warehouse employees to ensure that they adhere to established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Oversee the receiving, storing, and organizing of materials, equipment, and supplies to ensure efficient workflow and space utilization.
- Collaborate with procurement and purchasing teams to ensure that all materials are ordered and delivered on time, and in accordance with quality standards.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies or variances.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to material handling activities, including receiving reports, inventory cycle counts, and material movement records.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leader with a proactive, positive attitude, and a strong sense of self-motivations, accountability, and responsibility
- Certifications optional but beneficial: APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification
