What You’ll Be Doing:
🚨 Day-to-Day Problem Solving:
✔️ Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues
✔️ Become the go-to expert (SME) for systems administration at NICB
✔️ Train and mentor the team while fostering collaboration
📈 Strategic Planning & Governance:
✔️ Design and manage on-prem & cloud-based IT infrastructure
✔️ Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security
✔️ Develop policies and procedures for infrastructure & disaster recovery
🔧 Acquisition & Deployment:
✔️ Research and deploy new IT solutions to keep NICB ahead of the game
✔️ Oversee hardware and software upgrades, ensuring smooth operations
✔️ Build and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors
🛠 Operational Excellence:
✔️ Keep IT systems running at peak performance
✔️ Implement best practices for Active Directory, O365, and Group Policies
✔️ Ensure security compliance and work closely with the NICB Security Team

🔧 Skills & Qualifications – What You Bring to the Table!
🎓 Education & Experience
✔️ Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field – or equivalent hands-on experience in a tech-driven role
✔️ 5 years of senior-level experience designing and managing enterprise IT infrastructure
✔️ 2 years leading teams, either as a supervisor or SME on major projects
✔️ Experience in 24/7 manufacturing environments (bonus points if you thrive in fast-paced, high-stakes settings!)
💡 Technical Expertise
✔️ Extensive experience with Microsoft Server OS, VMWare, and enterprise-level IT solutions
✔️ Deep understanding of networking, system administration, and computer hardware (HPE, Dell)
✔️ Hands-on experience with iSCSI storage (Nimble, EMC) and Hyperconverged Infrastructure (VXRail, SimpliVity)
✔️ Knowledge of high-speed Ethernet (1, 10, 25, 40, and 100Gbps)
✔️ Solid background in server backup solutions and ITIL fundamentals

✔️ Organizational guru with attention to detail and strong follow-through
✔️ Excellent communication—both written and verbal—to break down complex IT issues in a user-friendly way
✔️ Analytical mindset with a knack for troubleshooting and problem-solving
