Operating Engineer $48,830.38 - $68,696.71 Saturday Wednesday, 12pm-8pm Glen Gardner, NJ The New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction seeks an Operating Engineer 1 to take the lead in the operation and maintenance of boilers, engines, turbines, motors, generators and auxiliary equipment used in power and heating plants. Make minor and emergency repairs to various types of generators and motors, feed and vacuum pumps, etc; conduct periodic comprehensive tests; take readings and recordings; perform other related duties, as required. EXPERIENCE : 2 yrs' experience in work involving the operation and repair of stationary steam boilers and power plant or high-pressure heating plant auxiliary equipment. LICENSE : Appropriate Operating Engineer's license (Blue Seal minimum) of the appropriate grade, issued by the NJ Dept of Labor.
