Installation Technician/Mover

Due to business needs all candidates must:

-Possess current GA Driver's License

-Have clean driving record with no accidents or tickets within the last 7-10 years

-Be able to pass a background check

-Be able to pass pre-employment and random drug screening

Our business is helping our clients put smiles on their customers’ faces. The New Vemco Music Company is an industry leader in providing amusement equipment to commercial businesses. We lease pool tables, jukeboxes, ATM’S, claw machines, and many other machines to local businesses. We began operating in North Carolina over 50 years ago and have continued to expand. Currently, we serve North and South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, and Florida.

THE POSITION:

The New Vemco Music Company is in search of Installation Technicians/Movers at our Garden City, GA warehouse. Installation Technicians install equipment at new client locations; repair equipment on-site and in the Garden City warehouse.

This position would be a good fit for: someone who is looking for a full-time position where they can be an asset to company operation. Driven and responsible individual who is a problem-solver and people-person. Enjoys a job that has routine but no two days are the same, someone who enjoys traveling and interacting with others regularly.

Responibilities:

- Use company-owned vehicle to drive to client locations to install new equipment - filling out necessary forms after completion

- safely and securely load equipment into box trucks for installation at new locations

- use company-owned vehicle to respond to service calls according to urgency and make the necessary repairs on site (examples: clear coin jams, troubleshoot internet connection issues, replace screen monitors, release stuck prizes, clean pool ball tracks, replace game parts) -filling out necessary forms after completion

- Assemble new equipment or assess and repair broken/damaged equipment in the warehouse

- Help maintain overall organization of the warehouse

- perform other duties as assigned

REQUIRMENTS:

- Ability to easily lift 75lbs solo or team lift pool tables

- Must be mechanically inclined including experience with hand and power tools; use of volt/multimeter preferred

- Understands or learns new technology easily

- Repair-minded individual who's capable of trouble-shooting and critical thinking

- Must have availability to work rotating on-call schedule for after-hours service calls once well trained on equipment repair (additional compensation)

- Comfortable talking to diverse clientele and polished customer service skills

- Able to count money/have cash-handling experience

- Ability to read and write basic English and write legibly

- Able to confidently and safely operate box truck

- Able to safely drive to various locations throughout the day; ability to sit for long periods while driving and able to exit vehicle frequently

- Have a current Georgia driver's license and clean driving record

- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests

- Able to pass background check

- Nice to have: in-depth knowledge of electronics; experience with Cat5 wiring and installation a plus; use of volt-ohm meter
