ABOUT US:
The New Vemco Music Company is an industry leader in providing amusement equipment to commercial businesses. We provide pool tables, jukeboxes, ATM’S, claw machines, and many other machines to meet the needs of local businesses such as restaurants, bars, bowling alleys and so much more.
THE POSITION:
We are currently seeking Route collectors for our Winston-Salem office. Route Collectors are in a client-facing role and are the heartbeat of our business. Route Collectors use a company-provided vehicle to service business machines assigned to them. Routes include the Triad and surrounding area. Route collectors:
- Stock company vehicle with needed paperwork, cleaning supplies, and merchandise stock for daily route
- Travel to business partner locations to collect from, clean, and replenish machines along assigned route
- Use collection app and printing device to provide each location with a receipt as proof of collection and to maintain accurate records
- Make minor repairs/adjustments to equipment in assigned locations to ensure all equipment is working and ready for play
- Constantly and continuously assess the needs of assigned locations to ensure they have the proper amusement equipment to meet their needs
- Report any equipment in need of extensive repair to management
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to safely drive company vehicle to various locations throughout the day
- Ability to exit vehicle, frequently bend, walk and stand while at locations and in vehicle
- Ability to handle heavy lifting of at least 50lbs as some collections involve moving/ rearranging merchandise or equipment
- Some experience in repair/maintenance of equipment (such as vehicles, low voltage electrical, home repairs, frequent power tools usage, etc.)
- Ability to learn new apps on handheld devices for record keeping
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate with staff at various locations
- Ability to govern self and work independently
- Posses Driver's License for at least five (5 )years and have a clean driving record
- Able to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Able to pass background check
- Previous experience in collections or a related field is preferred, but not required
- Cash handling experience highly preferred
- Available to work rotating on-call schedule for after-hours service calls (additional compensation while on call). Non-negotiable
*Please note that while Route Collectors are home each evening, this position requires frequent travel to customer locations within Forsyth/Guilford and surrounding counties throughout the business day, including but not limited to: Forsyth, Alamance, Chatham, Randolph, Watauga counties
