Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive learning environment.
- Educate children on basic skills such as literacy, numeracy, and social interaction.
- Support the development of individualized education plans for children with special needs or disabilities.
- Facilitate toddler care and supervise children during playtime and structured activities.
- Participate in curriculum development to enhance learning experiences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to lead teachers.
Requirements
- A background in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
- Experience in daycare settings or childcare environments is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with special education practices and working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to educate young learners using engaging methods tailored to their developmental stages.
- Knowledge of literacy education techniques to support reading readiness among toddlers.
