Job Summary
Private practice with locations in downtown Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Lindenhurst (Long Island) is seeking compassionate and dedicated Therapists to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic support to adults (males and females) who present with various mental health issues and who are involved in the criminal justice system. This hybrid position involves conducting therapy sessions primarily via Telehealth and occasionally in person.
Duties
- Provide individual therapy based on client's clinical needs - the opportunity to provide group and family therapy is based on experience
- Utilize an Electronic Record System to complete Progress Notes and 90-day
- Treatment Plans
- Ensure that client files are up-to-date
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines in all client interactions
- Complete Discharge Summaries
- Communicate with the Referral Agency
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling
- License: Valid licensure as a Psychotherapist/MH Counselor in New York State (LMHC, LCSW, LMSW)
- Limited Permit: Individuals who require supervision hours towards licensure are welcome to apply (Example: MHC-LP)
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in using telehealth technology for remote therapy sessions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Spanish speaking a plus)
Hours: Flexible - Set Your Own Schedule (Up to 40 hours/week)
Job Type: Fee for Service, Part Time, Full Time
Pay: $37.00 - $50.00 per hour (Annually: $75,000 - $104,000)
