Controller Position
The New Yorker Hotel by Wyndham is seeking a skilled Controller to supervise and coordinate Accounting Operations in our hotel. The successful candidate will ensure accurate, timely, and consistent reporting according to policies, GAAP, and federal, state, and local laws.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cashier, and Night Audit employees.
- Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
- Assist with budget compilation, forecasts, taxes, and other financial reports.
Requirements:
- At least 2-4 years of hotel accounting experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting, finance, and hospitality professions.
- Experience managing people and complex problems.
