Program Coordinator
Youth Drop-In Center
Worksite Location: The Dalles
Work Schedule: Full-Time; 40 hours per week
Salary Range: $22.91 - $25.16 per hour
Reports to: Youth Services Program Supervisor

Who are we looking for?
The Program Coordinator provides transitional and supportive services to a caseload of program participants, conducts progress assessments, and develops transition plans. This position maintains knowledge of community resources, coordinates referrals, and collaborates with caseworkers, families, and community partners to achieve program objectives.
What you will do…
- Coordinate youth and staff at Youth Drop In, including making sure Drop-In is fully staffed, coordinating Drop-In hours, activities for Drop In, and develop and supervise policies and procedures for Drop-In
- Oversight of activities related to screening, processing, and serving youth who are involved with the program, including Youth Advisory Council interviews, Homeless Management Information System entry, and other screening process as needed
- Collaborate with other TNDI departments and community partners to share about youth Drop-In services at TNDI
- Collaborate with local youth serving agencies to build partnerships for the Drop-In
- Follow and monitor quality assurance standards including file audits, case consultation, and documentation reviews with staff
- Play a consistent and active role in identifying project inefficiencies and finding collaborative solutions to the problems
- Track program outcomes and complete reports
- Facilitate and assign duties related to Drop-In activities and support groups
- Maintain client confidentiality and professionalism in carrying out all the duties of this position
- Be a support in a safe, nurturing, and well-supervised space for youth aged 14-23 to participate in and access resources, Monday through Thursday during Drop-In hours
- Demonstrate good judgment, dependability, punctuality, and conscientiousness while working with clients
- Conduct comprehensive intake, assessment, and service plans for at-risk youth who visit the Drop-In Center.
- Provide on-going case management for at-risk youth including developing and monitoring client goals, advocacy, referrals to community resources, and outreach.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Education, Experience, and Requirements you need…
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with auto liability insurance
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check
- Experience working with youth from diverse backgrounds
- Understanding of local resources available for youth experiencing houselessness
Preferred:
- Two years of supervisory experience
