Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Infant teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging educational activities that promote learning through play.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment for all children.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Engage in daily communication with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with other staff members to support the overall educational goals of the preschool.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that is conducive to learning.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Must have a teacher deeds certificate
- Working with individuals with disabilities, showcasing adaptability and understanding.
- Previous experience in a preschool setting, highlighting familiarity with early childhood education practices.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Certification in First Aid is preferred but not required.
