Your responsibilities will include maintaining cleanliness, assisting with inventory management, and ensuring that all necessary supplies are readily available for the bar staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist bartenders in preparing and serving drinks to customers promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Stock and replenish supplies such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice as needed.
- Help with food preparation and ensure that all food handling practices meet health standards.
- Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons and responding to their needs promptly.
- Operate the POS system to assist with transactions as required.
- Support catering events by preparing drinks and serving guests during special occasions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a bar or restaurant setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and kitchen operations is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both customers and staff members.
