  • Repetitive hand/finger movement on a regular basis.
  • Grasping/grabbing with hands infrequently.

  • Determine management, production and quality requirements by asking questions and listening. 
  • Attend company meetings as required.
  • Maintain a follow-up system that encourages follow through with assigned projects.
  • Establish personal performance goals that are consistent with company standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
  • Maintain manufacturer required certification levels
  • Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
  • Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services.
  • Know and understand the federal, state and local requirements which govern the company's business.
  • Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
  • Understand and follow work rules and procedures. Participate in performance management.
  • Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.
  • Uphold the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
  • Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
  • Report to work on time and ready to work.  

Job-Specific Expectations 

  • Write up, dispatch, and close all Internal Repair Orders (new and used vehicles).
  • Coordinate with Sales and Used Car Management for inventory processing.
  • Coordinate Due Bill work as needed for sold customers.
  • Work with outside vendors for needed work on Internal and Customer (Due Bill) vehicles.
  • Manage the Due Bill Schedule with the Business Office.
  • Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains vehicle information.
  • May assist in writing up customer's vehicle problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
  • Refers to service history, inspects vehicle, and recommends additional needed service.
  • Obtains customer's signature on repair order; provides customer with a copy.
  • Establishes customer's method of payment.
  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts Management or Customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
  • Assists in reviewing repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work and authorization is noted.
  • Books repair orders by using appropriate labor types, op-codes and labor times.
  • Maintain a clean open repair order list.
  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
  • Ensures vehicle reconditioning is completed in 3 days or less
  • Makes sure they are locked and all keys are marked and put away correctly.
  • Assists in explaining completed work and all charges to customers.
  • Maintains high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Handles telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
  • Updates and monitors Rapid Recon. 
  • Completes additional tasks as directed.

Compensation Range by Position:

The expected pay for this position is $16.50 per hour plus bonus up to $5,000.00 per month and may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.  Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.
