Position Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Coach to lead our coaching team and manage our Ninja classes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, strong leadership abilities, and excellent class management skills. While no prior ninja skills are required, a background in coaching, gymnastics, or rock climbing is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coach Ninja classes, ensuring a safe, engaging, and positive environment for all participants.
• Oversee and mentor coaching staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring adherence to The Ninja Gym's coaching standards.
• Develop and implement class programming that aligns with our mission and meets the needs of our participants.
• Plan and conduct monthly coaches' meetings to discuss programming, address concerns, and promote team cohesion.
• Communicate with parents about their child's progress, provide feedback on strengths and areas for improvement, and ensure a positive experience for both athletes and families.

Schedule:

• Mondays: 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Tuesdays: 2:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Thursdays: 3:30 PM – 8:00 PM
• Every Third Friday: 3:30 PM – 5:00 PM
• Every Second/Third Saturday: 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
• Additional: approximately 2 office hours each week and 1 coaches' meeting each month
• As Needed: 1-2 Hours per month class sub

Qualifications:

• Must be 20 years old
• Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
• Strong class and behavior management skills, particularly with children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both children and parents.
• Organizational skills and a responsible approach to planning and executing class programming.
• Experience in coaching, gymnastics, rock climbing, or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $18-$20 per hour for coaching sessions.
• Office Hours and Meetings: $200/month salary

Referral Incentive:

We offer a $100 referral bonus to current employees who refer a candidate that remains with us for at least three months.
