ABOUT US: At The Nonantum Resort, we strive to provide memorable, high-quality experiences to our guests while maintaining a friendly and respectful work environment. The Bartender’s role is to make creative cocktails while providing friendly service to our guests and being excellent stewards of The Nonantum Resort and its culture. Our Bartenders rotate through a number of outlets: our poolside bar, our indoor bar, and function bars.
ABOUT THE JOB:
- Deliver exceptional customer service to create memorable dining experiences.
- Understand and articulate the details of the resort cocktail menus, wine & beer lists, and food options.
- Adhere to proper sanitation of bar equipment and hand washing policies.
- Manage time efficiently throughout business fluctuations to ensure consistent, high standards of service.
- Take initiative to advance bar skillset.
- Work collaboratively with other bartenders and servers to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain professionalism in language, appearance, and service.
- Balance cash receipts
ABOUT YOU:
- Prior bartending experience required
- Proven ability to work as a team member
- Possess a positive attitude and confidence with engaging others in conversation
- Success with handling multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Knowledge of various spirits, wines, and beers strongly preferred
- Aptitude for learning new bar and service skills
- Ability to be reliable and punctual
- Ability to stand and move around for the length of a shift
